The Beauty Barn Booking Policies

when booking an appointment at The Beauty Barn, you are agreeing to have read and understand the booking terms and conditions.

BOOKING FEES

bookings are not secured until the booking fee has been paid. 

The appointment time will be held for 24 hours until the booking fee is sent. 

Booking fees are non refundable and non transferable. 

Where possible, please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment time, it may result in 50% of your treatment price needing to be paid before another appointment can be re-booked. Please note when cancelling or no showing to an appointment, the booking fee cannot be carried over and will be lost. 

PAYMENTS

Cash or bank transfer can be used. If paying by bank transfer, please make sure your payment has been paid either before your arrival or after your treatment, before leaving The Beauty Barn. 

PATCH TESTING

Patch tests must be carried out no later than 48 hours before your treatment. Patch tests are required for new clients, Clients who have had covid or their covid vaccines since their last appointment ,clients who haven't visited the barn in 6 months, clients with underlying health conditions or are currently pregnant. 

Treatments cannot be carried out without the patch test taking place. 

If you fail to come for your patch test no later than 48 hours before your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and your booking fee will be lost.

Patch tests are essential to keep you safe, please make sure to organise your patch test to avoid your appointment being cancelled.

AFTERCARE

All beauty treatments require following the aftercare guidance. By following the aftercare it ensure you'll get the best, long lasting results out of your treatment. 

If you don't follow the correct aftercare given to you at your appointment, the treatment won't last as well as it should and you won't see the best results. 

CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

When booking an appointment, the booking fee is to secure the appointment slot you've booked. If you change your mind within 72 hours of your appointment (for example - you've booked in for brow lamination and change it to a wax and tint or booking in for nails and a lash lift and change to just nails instead etc) you will be charged the full amount of the original booking. To avoid this happening, at the time of booking please book the exact treatments you'd like, or let me know no later than 72 hours before to avoid being charged.

NO SHOWS

No shows will be charged at 50% of the booking price and to re-book, the full treatment price will need to be paid upfront. Failing to show up for a patch test or running more than 15 minutes late will also be classed as a no-show, as the treatment may not be able to go ahead as planned. 

FAQS

Certain medications etc can affect the results of treatments. If you are taking medications, recently started new medications, are pregnant or menopausual please let me know ahead of your scheduled appointment, as this can sometimes affect the results of certain treatments and another patch test may also be needed. 

If you are using any skincare products that contain retinol (Vitamin A) please stop using this at least 2 weeks before any brow or facial waxing appointments. This is essential to ensure your skin doesn't get damaged with waxing.
